Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions for enterprise clients. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and integration, and a solid foundation in IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
The role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively, contribute to technical solution design, mentor junior colleagues, and liaise effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
* Implement and maintain ServiceNow features including ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Workflow Studio, Workflow Editor, Events, Notifications, Service Portals, and Catalog Items.
* Build and manage integrations using IntegrationHub, IntegrationHub ETL, and native integrations (e.g., Active Directory).
* Support and enhance Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS), Customer Service Management (CSM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) implementations.
* Work with business analysts and clients to translate requirements into functional solutions.
* Contribute to process automation, event management, and multi-system integration projects.
* Provide technical mentorship to colleagues and foster a collaborative team culture.
* Ensure solutions are aligned with ITIL v4 best practices.
What makes you a great fit? (Skills & Qualifications)
Essential:
* 5+ years' experience in ServiceNow development, implementation and administration in particular experience with PSDS.
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist - PSDS, CSM and/or ITSM.
* Strong experience with ITSM, ITIL v4 practices, and enterprise integrations.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and related programming languages.
* Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as HP Operations Orchestration.
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow workflows, automation, and catalogue development.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Desirable:
* Experience with Software and Hardware Asset Management modules.
* Exposure to event-based automation and multi-system integrations.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Mentoring and knowledge-sharing experience.
