**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Social Media Advisor to join their expanding team in Sydney Olympic Park. This is an estimated 12month temp assignment, with a potential to extend
Working within People, Performance and Governance Business Unit, you will be required to develop, implement and evaluate the organisations social media strategy to achieve organisational objectives.
Your duties will include however, will not be limited to the following:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate social media strategies to ensure Departmental objectives are achieved
- Drive and manage the social media channels including planning and scheduling organic posts
- Create and deliver high quality, innovative and engaging messages to targeted audiences to raise community awareness and understanding of initiatives
- Write all copy for social media platforms including replying to questions and comments from online communities
- Review, proofread and publish social media content ensuring compliance with legislative and departmental standards, guidelines, and best practice
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, facilitating opportunities for engagement
- Create and manage social media campaigns for the organisations productions, events and projects
- Cultivate and manage influencer and social media fan relationships
- Lead on safe-guarding and championing social media community guidelines, communicating effectively processes for reporting online hate speech including monitoring and reporting posts
- Work collaboratively with Communications & Engagement Team during times of reputational risk or crisis including drafting and releasing media statements and strategizing emergency communications plans
- Utilise analytical and monitoring tools to evaluate social media reach, engagement, growth and traffic
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the performance of social media initiatives; identifying emerging trends and issues, whilst recommending innovative improvement strategies to mitigate risk and improve quality and effectiveness
- Report on recent platform trends and social opportunities to explore
**About You**
To be successful in the role, you will have the following
- Social Media Advisor experience essential
- Demonstrated Copywriting and Editorial skills
- Collaborative, Influential, Creative and Strategic approach
- Experience managing a variety of platforms including Advertising Accounts, Google AdWords, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
- Health or Public Sectors experience highly advantageous
- Impeccable communication skills both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency skills within MS Office suite, CMS, Hootsuite, Photoshop, InDesign and Premier Pro
- High attention to detail
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medical exemption
