Fermentation Bioprocess Scientist
The Role
Fermentation bioprocessing involves managing microbial cultures to produce desired biochemicals or biofuels. The successful candidate will oversee fermentation processes, ensuring quality control and engaging in research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of Fermentation Processes: Manage the day-to-day operations of bioprocess manufacturing facilities, including equipment maintenance and quality assurance.
* Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet established quality standards through regular testing and inspection.
* Research and Development: Develop new methods for improving fermentation efficiency, productivity, and yield.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field: A degree in a relevant field is required, with at least five years of experience in bioprocess manufacturing.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated expertise in fermentation process management, quality control, and research and development.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production staff, quality assurance personnel, and senior management.
