Quik Corp designs and builds heavy‐duty spray equipment and custom vehicle systems for agriculture, industry and emergency response. All design, fabrication and assembly is done in‐house at our Coolum Beach facility, so what you design gets built.
We are looking for a SolidWorks Designer who enjoys practical design work across both custom builds and recent product development. You do not need to be an engineer. If you understand sheet metal, weldments and how things are actually made, this role is for you.
The Role
You will design build‐ready components and assemblies used on real equipment and vehicles, owning your work from concept through to fabrication and installation.
The work includes
* Sheet metal and weldment design in SolidWorks
* Producing clear drawings for fabrication and assembly
* Working directly with the factory to resolve fit‐up and build issues
* Improving existing designs based on what happens on the floor
* Supporting both one‐off custom work and ongoing product development
What We Care About
* Strong SolidWorks capability, particularly sheet metal and weldments
* Practical understanding of fabrication and assembly
* Experience designing things that have actually been built
* Willingness to spend time on the factory floor
* Background in vehicle bodies, spray equipment, agricultural, industrial or heavy equipment is a solid advantage
Formal qualifications matter less than your ability to produce workable, manufacturable designs. This is not a screen‐only CAD role.
Why Quik Corp
Your designs get built on site. A mix of custom work and current products year on year. Direct feedback from build to design. A grounded, hands‐on team with ambitious growth plans.
If you enjoy solving real design problems and seeing your work come to life, we would like to hear from you.
