We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.About the opportunityWe are currently seeking a Health andSafety Coordinator to join our team in Sydney!This position has been reshaped to focus on high-level coordination and support functions, working closely with our Health andSafety leadership and broader project teams.This position is ideally suited to an administrative professional with strong organisational skills and experience supporting teams across reporting, document management, systems and general coordination. It also offers the opportunity to assist with General Manager-level administration and broader team support functions.This is a long-term position best suited to someone who thrives in a structured administrative role and is looking to grow their impact within a collaborative Health and Safety business environment.Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)Assisting with preparation and coordination of monthly Health and Safety reports, registers, and dashboards.Supporting the ongoing administration of safety systems, including SharePoint and Power BI.Coordinating team communications, meeting scheduling and documentation across multiple stakeholders.Maintaining records, registers and controlled documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.Providing high-level administrative support to the Health and Safety team and General Manager, including assistance with reporting, presentations and internal communications.Acting as a central point of contact for safety coordination tasks across the business.What we're looking forProven experience in an administrative, team coordination or business support role.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).Experience using SharePoint and Power BI is highly desirable.Excellent time management, organisation and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across teams and levels of seniority.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work.A genuine interest in contributing to safety and team performance through well-managed processes and support.Why you should work with usOur people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
