The Role The Finance Business Partner will act as a key commercial partner across designated business units. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, analysis, and strategic support—providing insights that directly influence operational and financial outcomes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, translating financial data into clear, actionable recommendations, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes. This position is well‑suited to a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys stakeholder engagement and driving performance through insight.
Responsibilities
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across assigned business units
Deliver detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and performance reporting
Develop financial models to support business cases, scenario planning, and investment decisions
Partner with operational leaders to provide insight into financial performance and key drivers
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders
Support development and evaluation of efficiency and cost‑saving initiatives
Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for non‑finance stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting
Contribute to strategic planning and broader finance projects
The Candidate
Proven experience in a finance business partnering or management accounting role
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
Confident communicator with experience working with non‑finance leaders
Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
Proactive, solutions‑focused, and comfortable working in a complex environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
CA / CPA qualified or working towards completion
4‑8 years’ experience within a large or complex organisation
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
