**The Role '" Sales Manager**
Make a significant impact on our success story and be a driving force in achieving our ambitious targets.
Join our team as a Sales Manager and take charge of executing and implementing winning sales strategies. You'll lead a high-performing sales team, drive results, and foster excellence across all regions. Your role includes creating and managing sales budgets and ensuring financial targets are met.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll also oversee regional teams, including our phone-based sales team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends, driving national financial growth.
- Identify new opportunities to expand customer base and market share.
- Secure growth by negotiating contracts with potential clients.
- Analyse sales data for growth insights and improvement areas.
- Set ambitious yet realistic sales targets, oversee budgets and expenses.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including current and potential customers, to grasp their needs and refine sales strategies.
- Develop and sustain relationships with strategic partners, distributors, and key accounts.
- Enhance company presence and network through industry events.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement necessary training and development plans.
- Develop customer retention strategies to boost sales.
**About You**
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will possess strong communication and collaborative abilities. You will be from a business development or sales management background and demonstrate proven experience in sales management within the Rental Equipment or Finance industry. You will also have:
- Excellent industry knowledge and contacts
- The availability to travel regularly
- The ability to work under pressure and resolve conflict in an appropriate manner.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly.
- The ability to motivate, coach and lead a team.
- Experience using HubSpot or other CRM.
- Demonstrated capability in responding to tenders and developing sales proposals.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Advanced Word skills (preferred).
- Professional discretion.
