The Opportunity Public Sector People are partnering with a State Government Department to recruit an AO5 Project Advisor for a long-term temporary contract through to September
This role is located in the Sunshine Coast.
This role is ideal for a professional with strong project administration and coordination skills, who enjoys supporting the successful delivery of significant government projects while working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities As the Project Advisor, you will:
* Provide high-level project and administrative support to the Manager and project team
* Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions and decisions
* Support risk and issue management, including the development of mitigation strategies
* Assist with tender and procurement processes
* Manage project documentation, reporting, and quality assurance activities
* Prepare briefing notes, reports, and submissions
* Undertake data analysis and project performance reporting
* Support project health checks, contractor surveillance, and compliance monitoring
* Provide oversight and support to project support staff when required
* Ensure project activities align with departmental policies, guidelines, and standards
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Demonstrated experience in project coordination or administration within complex environments
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence in liaising with a range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes
* Previous government or large project experience (highly regarded)
