We’re looking for a motivated Trade Representative to join our team and help grow our trade business through strong customer relationships and proactive sales.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers alike.
- Drive sales growth through account management and outreach.
- Processing sale orders, quotes, & invoicing in an accurate, effective & prompt manner.
- Handle customer queries & complaints in a professional and helpful manner.
- Attend trade mornings and industry events to represent our brand.
- Use computer systems to manage customer accounts and transactions efficiently.
- Stay informed on product ranges and market trends.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in trade sales, hardware, or building supplies (preferred).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid computer literacy (POS systems, quoting tools).
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High level of verbal & written communication & numeracy skills.
- A proactive, customer-first attitude.
- Knowledge of local trade and construction industries.
