Overview
Catholic Homes is seeking Home Care Support Workers to join our home care team on a permanent part-time basis in the Fremantle, Coogee and surrounding areas. This position provides in-home personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport and daily living supports for home care clients.
Responsibilities
* Provide in-home personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport and daily living supports for home care clients.
* Build strong and lasting relationships with clients to help them stay at home longer and participate in the community.
Qualifications and attributes
* A great personality and willingness to chat and engage with clients.
* Dedicated, reliable and flexible.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to demonstrate empathy with elderly clients and maintain a caring nature.
* Person-centred care mindset; take pride in work, appearance, and making a difference every day.
* Roadworthy and registered vehicle and a current C class WA driver\'s licence.
* Availability to do shift work (morning, afternoon, evening, and full-day shifts available).
* Experience in Community Aged Care or NDIS (desirable).

* Ongoing support from the Home Care Operations Manager, Support Worker Team Leader and wider Home Care team.
