About the Opportunity
The Hospitality/Food Service Attendant role is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient food service to our residents according to Bolton Clarke's Food Standards and providing kitchen and food preparation support to the Chef.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide all food service activities to residents including serving meals, dining room set-up and clearing.
* Ensure food handling, safety and other specified qualifications are current.
* Undertake basic food preparation under direction of senior staff.
* Prepare food within designated timeframe and according to FSP, Bolton Clarke Food Standards and OH&S specifications.
* Wash and store equipment within designated timeframe and according to FSP and OH&S specifications.
* Clean and remove rubbish within designated timeframe and according to FSP and OH&S specifications.
* Conduct kitchen and pantry stock inventory when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following:
* A commitment to follow Basic Food Safety Practices certificate - HLTFS7A (Essential).
* Sound hospitality experience.
* Solid food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment).
* Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
* Highly motivated and able to take initiative.
* Excellent communication style - able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
* Team player, ability to go the extra mile.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
