A proud local Australian business, our client is a market-leader within their respective industry. Due to company growth and winning new contracts, the team is now looking to strengthen its commercial and contracts team with this new Commercial Manager - Finance role.
Description
* Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive business performance.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational strategies.
* Provide insights into financial performance by analysing key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
* Oversee cost control measures and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
* Managing contracts, ensuring accuracy of terms and commercial strength.
* Running bids & tendering process.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Support the leadership team with strategic financial planning and advice.
* Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team to achieve organisational goals.
Profile
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA).
* Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
* Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.
* Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
* Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
* A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial challenges and opportunities.
* Leadership experience with a track record of developing and managing teams effectively.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
