Project Development and Planning Facilitation Coordinator

Integra is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Project Development and Planning Facilitation to lead project approvals and manage multidisciplinary teams for delivering high-quality planning applications efficiently.
The role will guide internal and external consultant teams, facilitate workshops, review outputs, and oversee preparation and submission of various planning applications including strategic plans and permits.
What you will do;
Build strong relationships with approval authorities, managing communications with internal and external stakeholders, actively pursuing approvals, negotiating with agencies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of planning applications, including Strategic planning submissions, Structure and Development Plans and Planning Permits (both Use and Development).
Drive approvals and manage authority interactions with Local and State Government, Referral Agencies and Service Authorities.
Track project milestones, budgets, risks, and preparing reports, while collaborating internally to align planning with commercial goals and providing strategic advice on land acquisition and development staging.
Collaborate with internal development managers, design engineers, sales/marketing, and finance teams to ensure planning outcomes and support broader project and commercial objectives.
Provide strategic planning advice to guide land acquisition decisions, master-planning direction, and development staging.
Key Capabilities & Attributes;
Relevant tertiary qualification in town planning or closely related discipline and significant experience in urban design and planning.
An advanced understanding of the Victorian planning system and experience in statutory planning permit, planning scheme amendment and development processes.
An ability to negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
A capacity to critically evaluate problems from multiple perspectives and deliver effective solutions.
