The role
We are seeking a reliable and organised professional to join our team in a dual‐role position combining account payable and receivable and Student Support.
Financial Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Manage student fee records and payment schedules
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial documentation
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial summaries and reports for management
- Coordinate with the accounts team for fee tracking and outstanding payments
- Ensure financial records comply with institutional and regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Student Support Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and general support to students regarding enrolment, fees, and course information
- Assist students with course progress, attendance queries, and academic documentation
- Coordinate student records and maintain accurate data in student management systems
- Communicate with students regarding assessments, attendance, and compliance requirements
- Support student orientation and engagement activities
- Assist management and trainers in maintaining student records and documentation
- Ensure students understand institutional policies and support services
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in Bookkeeping, Accounts Administration, or Finance
- Experience in student services, education administration, or customer support is highly desirable
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) preferred
- Experience working in an education or training organisation will be an advantage
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or Education Administration preferred
Job Type: Part time
Pay: $26.50 - $32.50 per hour
