The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is a comprehensive, sophisticated central corporate services agency that undertakes a unified enterprise-wide approach to delivering corporate and digital services to Northern Territory Government (NTG) agencies. DCDD's Agency Procurement Services provides centralised procurement advisory and support services in accordance with their Service Statement, NTG Procurement Framework and Buy Local Policy. Services include advice and support in the preparation of tender and contract documentation, procurement assessments, contract award and contract management advice.
Currently, there are several vacancies for experienced Senior Procurement Advisors in the Darwin team.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Procurement Advisor (AO7), you will support client agencies to deliver procurement projects and discrete deliverables including procurement planning, specification development, procurement sourcing and tender evaluation. Your sound knowledge and understanding of procurement policy and legislation, and your demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement and contract management, will position you as a subject matter expert in your field. This expertise will assist your clients to enable informed decision on sound procurement principles whilst ensuring compliance with the NTG Procurement Framework. In addition, your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills along with your ability to work collaboratively and constructively will assist clients achieve effective and efficient procurement processes and outcomes. High level written skills with the ability to prepare documentation demonstrating a high degree of attention to detail including procurement documentation, reports and brief is essential.
Qualifications
Completed or progress towards completion of a Diploma of Procurement Contracting or relevant qualifications will be well received.
Remuneration and benefits
Base pay range: A$134,227.00/yr - A$144,271.00/yr
Administrative Officer 7 - Remuneration Package Range $134,227 - $144,271 (including salary $113,938 - $122,574)
Salary packaging and leave entitlements include 12% superannuation, 6 weeks annual recreation and 3 weeks personal leave, 3 days Christmas closedown leave, 17.5% annual leave loading and professional development opportunities.
Relocation assistance may be available.
