As a trailblazing non-bank lender, we're breaking free from from the mould, making credit accessible through our personalised and compassionate approach to lending!How Will You Contribute?As a Credit Analyst at Finance One you assess a consistent pipeline of non-conforming to near-prime applications - principally residential mortgages, complemented by consumer and commercial asset-finance and cash-flow facilities. Applying critical thinking and sound judgement, you conduct holistic reviews of each borrower’s overall creditworthiness and translate those insights into clear, policy-aligned recommendations that balance prudent risk with customer opportunity. You work collaboratively and actively cross-skill with peers to strengthen team capability.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesComplete credit assessments on non-conforming and near-prime mortgage files.Analyse income, liabilities, security and credit conduct; document rationale clearly andcompliantly.Apply an approval-first mindset - identify mitigants or alternative structures that meet riskappetite.Provide constructive, actionable feedback on declined deals to brokers and internal sales teams.Communicate openly with brokers, BDMs and direct sales to clarify deal parameters and timelines.Build strong cross-functional relationships with Settlements, Credit Support and Compliance.Adhere to NCCP Act, Privacy Act and AML/CTF requirements.Escalate exceptions and potential breaches promptly.Achieve individual file-quality and turnaround KPIs while contributing to team targets.Mentor peers, share best practice and support a culture of continuous learning and innovation.The Work PerksFrom dress-up days to team lunches and staff events, we know how to have a fun time and celebrate your hard work.
