Are you enthusiastic about creating a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families? We are currently looking for passionate Disability support workers available and willing to work in Hoppers Crossing.You will be required to support clients in their home or take participants out into the community.

We take the time to really understand the challenges our participants are facing because of their disability, and work with them to come up with a solution that will allow them to live their best life.

**A typical day in the role may look like**
- Helping clients achieve their recovery goals.
- Aiding in the cooking of morning and evening meals.
- Dispensing medication.
- Providing support with personal care tasks.
- A genuine desire to witness individuals achieving their recovery goals.
- Availability to work evenings, including weekends.
- Willingness to assist with personal care, including showering.
- Minimal experience in computer and administrative skills.
- Eagerness to undergo training in areas like manual handling, medication administration and any other necessary skills to help our customers live independently.

**Essential Requirements**
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- COVID Vaccine Certificate.
- COVID-19 Training Certificate.
- CPR Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Full Australian Driver's License.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Registered and insured vehicle.
- Relevant Support Worker Training: (Disability, Mental Health).
- Working with children check.

**Desirable attributes**
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
