Senior Technical Manager - Television/Outside Broadcast

NEP Australia is currently looking for a Senior Technical Manager to join our Outside Broadcast team.
The position
The principal purpose of this position is responsible for the efficient organisation and management of the assigned Operation Unit Crew and Equipment, as well as providing Technical Specifications for Field or Studio based projects.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
* Provide Technical information to crew detailing client's expectations and ensure strong lines of communication with all stakeholders.
* Complete thorough pre-project planning and preparation, including required documentation.
* Ensure all internal and external facilities allocated to upcoming projects are serviceable and presented in a professional manner, including visible NEP branding.
* Provide consultation to clients in the identification of appropriate methods and equipment requirements for their productions.
* Provide training for junior staff as required.
* Develop and manage positive client relationships for the continued improvement of service quality.
Required skills and attributes:
* Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Outside Broadcast Manager of similar.
* Effective communication skills are essential for working in a team environment.
* Attention to detail is important to ensure accurate broadcast management and avoid mistakes.
* You should be able to adapt to changing situations, work under pressure, and make quick decisions to ensure the success of the broadcast.
* Able to show initiative by the ability to assess a situation and independently take action to address it.
* Naturally interested in technology and signal flow.
