THE ROLE Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the Psychologist will utilise evidence informed therapeutic approaches to aide people with mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs challenges, their families, carers and supporters. You will also be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, conducting specialist psychological assessments and interventions and facilitating sessions with individuals, groups, and families. There will be a requirement to provide direct clinical treatment to people accessing the service including short and long-term care, ensuring that psychological assessment and interventions are responsive to the needs of people accessing the programme. Clinical interventions will be integrated with and complemented by well-being supports, peer support, care coordination and mutual self-help supports.
