Role Description
This is a part-time role for an AV Installation / Programming Specialist, based in Gold Coast, QLD, with opportunities for some remote work. The responsibilities of this position include installing, configuring, maintaining, and programming audio-visual systems in diverse environments such as offices, lecture theatres, and commercial venues. The role requires the ability to interpret technical documentation, collaborate with team members, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely project completion with high-quality standards. Effective communication with clients and stakeholders is an essential aspect of this position.
Qualifications
* Strong technical skills in AV installation, system configuration, and programming
* Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
* Problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues effectively
* Time management and organizational skills for meeting project deadlines
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills to engage with clients and stakeholders
* Familiarity with industry-standard brands and emerging AV technologies
* Relevant certifications, such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), or willingness to obtain
* Prior experience in the audio-visual field or a related industry is highly beneficial
