Who are we?
Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members covering the lives of over 400,000 teachers, education staff & their families.
What will you do?
Role
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our office operations, helping to keep our spaces safe, functional, and welcoming. You will:
* Manage general maintenance and upkeep across our office spaces
* Provide front-of-house concierge services for visitors
* Liaise with building management, suppliers, and trades for repairs and service coordination
* Own the shared Facilities inbox and respond to requests promptly
* Support the CEO Office with admin and provide relief as needed
* Ensure WHS administrative functions are up to date and compliant
* Maintain security access, manage carpark allocations, and oversee kitchen/stationery supplies
* Support a positive, safe and efficient working environment for all
What do you need?
We're looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership and a can-do attitude. You'll need:
Required
* Minimum 3 years experience in either a facilities or building management role
* Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Intermediate MS Office skills
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
* HSC or equivalent
* Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
Desirable:
* Certificate IV in Administration
* Experience using Halo/ general scheduling and admin tools
* Experience in facilities, hospitality or concierge roles
* Team leadership or vendor management experience
This is an onsite role and requires you in the office 5 days per week.
The role also requires you to be available for occasional out of hours emergencies
