About the Role

Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) are seeking a dynamic and professional leader to shape exceptional service and drive impact across the metro region. As the Apprenticeship Field Operations Manager, you will lead the Industry Training Consultants team and the Booking & Assessments team and play a pivotal part in ensuring Australian Apprenticeships are launched with accuracy, care and confidence.

In this role, you'll guide and empower the team to deliver high‑quality, compliant training contract sign‑ups, exceptional client support, and strategic business development. You'll help your team represent the Australian Government with professionalism and integrity, while staying across the latest guidelines, incentives and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent position that will be based in the Osborne Park office.


Key responsibilities include:

* Lead and mentor the Industry Training Consultants to achieve set KPIs;
* Oversee the Bookings and Assessment team to ensure compliance in line with operational Guidelines;
* Support team members to effectively drive growth of ASA services across Perth;
* Support and develop the team to build their knowledge and skills to deliver high quality and compliant services to clients;
* Support coordinated and targeted business development initiatives to expand our client base;
* Ensure the team's time management and client servicing strategies are effective and efficient;
* Ensure team understand and comply all State and Federal guidelines pertaining to Australian Apprenticeships in an ethical manner, keeping them updated on any changes; and
* Ensure databases are a kept up to date with appropriate files notes and activity tracking.


About You

You're a natural leader who thrives on empowering others and ensuring high standards of service delivery. You'll bring:

* Strong leadership skills with a track record of achieving team targets
* Exceptional customer service and business development ability
* Confident communication, presentation and negotiation skills
* Solid computer and database management capability
* Knowledge of the Australian Apprenticeship system and government requirements
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate, timely reporting
* High integrity and ethical standards when managing government‑funded contracts and personal data


About ASA

Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) is a business unit of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA) and was formed in 1998 to deliver the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network services under a contract from the Commonwealth Government. ASA's services are focused on lifting apprenticeship commencement and completion rates through the provision of support at every stage of the training cycle.
