Job Title: Broker Portfolio Manager
This is a key role within our team, responsible for leading a group of brokers and managing a portfolio of diverse commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent client relationship management capabilities, and a demonstrated technical understanding of commercial insurance products.
The main responsibilities include handling a portfolio of key accounts while leading a team of experienced brokers managing a diverse portfolio of clients, managing key stakeholder relationships, and enhancing the client experience.
A critical requirement for this role is to identify development opportunities for your designated portfolio and design appropriate servicing solutions, develop new and profitable business within the commercial segment, contribute to the strategic direction of the commercial business, achieve your renewal and new business targets, mentor and develop team members within the region, and actively contribute in monthly branch and sales meetings.
To be successful in this role, you must possess previous experience as an insurance broker with leadership experience/capabilities, a demonstrated technical understanding of a broad range of commercial insurance products, hold Tier 1 qualifications in insurance, have excellent client relationship management capabilities, experience or interest in mentorship and/or team leadership, outstanding communication and presentation skills, entrepreneurial flair with demonstrated new business success, and bachelor's degree and/or relevant working experience.
