Marketing Manager Job Description:
Our team is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and execution for Women's and Men's Apparel categories. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving customer-centric, fashion-led campaigns that support both brand and commercial outcomes across owned, paid and earned channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and delivery of fashion campaigns across Women's and Men's categories with a strong emphasis on national and concession brands, seasonal launches and fashion trends.
• Translate trading, product and brand strategies into compelling customer-facing narratives and campaign concepts in collaboration with creative agency partners.
• Build strong relationships with brand partners to ensure their stories and seasonal focuses are represented through our omnichannel campaigns.
• Collaborate with Buying and Merchandise teams to align on priorities across concession and national brand partners, ensuring marketing supports brand-level investment, product launches and trade objectives.
• Lead briefing and creative oversight for campaign assets across online, social, email, PR, events, instore, Myer.com.au and paid media.
• Act as the central marketing lead for Women's and Men's Apparel, managing collaboration with Buying, Merchandise, Creative, Promo Events and eComm teams.
• Build strong relationships with concession and national brand stakeholders to align marketing activity and maximise brand-funded opportunities.
• Oversee marketing inclusions and brand-funded activity from concession and national brand partners, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to optimise co-funded marketing and build stronger brand partnerships.
• Lead post-campaign reporting and insight sharing for both internal stakeholders and brand partners.
• Monitor competitor and market activity across fashion and department store retail to inform campaign strategies and brand positioning.
• Manage team member life cycle as per Myer processes.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in fashion, retail or brand marketing - with experience working on national or concession brand campaigns strongly preferred.
• Proven track record delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong understanding of seasonal fashion, consumer behaviour and brand storytelling across Women's and Men's categories.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Confidence managing budgets, timelines, creative feedback and partner relationships simultaneously.
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Fashion or a related field.
• Previous experience in department store or multi-brand retail environments highly regarded.
• Familiarity with project management and marketing tools (e.g. Wrike, Trello, Excel, Microsoft Office).
