Lead, Support, and Make a Difference
As Employee Coordinator – Home and Garden Services, you'll play an important role in leading, developing and supporting our Home and Garden Professionals as you drive engagement, strengthen team connections, and cultivate a positive and respectful workplace culture. Through your leadership you will influence meaningful outcomes for customers, staff, and the organisation.
Based in Hervey Bay, the new full-time role (Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:36pm) includes regular travel to Gympie, Bundaberg, and Rockhampton to meet with your direct reports.

Reporting to Operations Manager – Business Support, you will:
* Coordinate programs that support employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive team culture across regions
* Provide leadership across dispersed teams, building strong regional connections and relationships
* Support staff performance and development, with guidance from the People and Culture Team
* Manage onboarding processes including inductions, equipment, probation, and training at all sites
* Collaborate on workforce planning and monitor KPIs to improve service delivery and team performance
* Address staff concerns, drive improvements in training, safety, budgeting, and embed a culture aligned with Suncare's values
About You
In addition to strong leadership experience and a customer-focused mindset, you'll bring a positive attitude toward working in community aged care and embrace continuous improvement and growth activities. You'll also bring:
* Excellent communication, consultation, and negotiation skills
* Proven leadership experience in home and garden services, or associated industry services, with knowledge of quality community support service delivery
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office and database management, with ability to educate and support team members in their use of workplace technology
* Demonstrated ability to motivate others and drive goal achievement
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with experience managing competing priorities
* Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, representing the organisation professionally
* Respect for confidentiality, resilience, and sound problem-solving abilities
* Willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes and to travel to regional offices between Rockhampton and Gympie. Where possible, a Suncare fleet vehicle may be used for long distance travel.
