The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead back-of-house production at our Barangaroo store. This is a hands‐on role for someone who enjoys running a structured, calm, high‐volume pastry kitchen, building strong BOH teams, and delivering consistently excellent product quality.
You'll work closely with the ownership team and front‐of‐house leadership to set production standards, manage labour, and maintain consistency across daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage daily pastry production and baking
* Maintain product quality, consistency, and food safety standards
* Build, train, and develop BOH pastry teams
* Create and manage production schedules and prep planning
* Monitor workflow, output, and team communication during peak periods
* Support a respectful, professional kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in professional pastry or bakery kitchens
* Experience leading or supervising a pastry team
* Strong technical pastry and baking skills
* Confidence with production planning and BOH labour management
* A calm, organised approach under pressure
* Pride in craftsmanship, standards, and team culture
