This placement would suit an experienced, patient, and nurturing Au Pair who enjoys being around young children You’ll be helping to care for a cheeky and lively 4 year old boy assisting with morning and afternoon routines, playtime, outings to parks, reading, feeding, and accompanying Mum to activities such as swimming and gymnastics. Light household tasks related to the child and daily life will also be part of the role. The family live in a modern four-bedroom home with excellent facilities, including a home gym and alfresco space. You’ll have a private guest bedroom with access to a bathroom, and a car is available for personal use. While driving is not essential, it would be considered a bonus. Strathnairn is a vibrant new suburb with a strong community feel, regular weekend activities, and easy access to Belconnen and Canberra City. Public transport options are available nearby, and local shops, gyms, and amenities are within easy reach. Canberra is an ideal destination for young travellers, offering a unique mix of free world-class museums, vibrant nightlife, and easily accessible nature. It boasts a sophisticated food scene, bustling breweries, and high-energy activities like kayaking on Lake Burley Griffin or hiking in nearby national parks, all within a compact city.
