The Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Receptionist role to join our dedicated team at our Caloundra Skin Cancer Centre on a Casual basis. The position requires,
approximately 32 hours per fortnight, our operating times are Monday - Friday and candidates must be available to work between the times of 7:30am - 5:30pm.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic, you will be responsible for:
- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Managing phone and email queries
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes
- Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essential
- Previous experience with medical practice software, such as Best Practice will be highly regarded
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
