Job Description:
Gartner's business development teams play a pivotal role in expanding the company's global presence.
* Cultivate trust-based relationships with C-level executives to understand their mission-critical priorities and uncover opportunities to deliver value through industry insights.
* Drive sales cycles from prospect identification to closure, transitioning new accounts to account management teams.
* Build long-term client value by establishing trust-based relationships, delivering results-driven solutions, and growing client business over time.
* Manage high-revenue sales across matrix environments.
* Owning forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years' experience in B2B sales, preferably within complex intangible sales environments.
* Business development or new-client acquisition experience highly desired.
* Experience selling to and influencing C-level executives.
* A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Ability to manage and forecast complex sales processes.
* Willingness to conduct travel as needed.
