We are currently seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join a large, well-known beverage manufacturing facility located in Milton, QLD, producing some of Australia's most recognized products.
Key Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring automated packaging, wrapping, and palletizing machinery
Shrink wrapping and heat-shrink processes
Clearing machine jams and performing basic troubleshooting
Replenishing packaging materials (cartons, trays, glue, wrap)
Feeding flat packs into machinery and monitoring product orientation and coding
Completing quality checks to ensure packaging standards are met
Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the packaging line
Supporting minor maintenance and general machine operation tasks
Kills & Experience
Previous experience as a packaging machine operator in a manufacturing environment is mandatory
Experience with shrink wrap and heat-shrink systems preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
Understanding of LOTO procedures desirable
Forklift Licence required (infrequent use)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work rotating shifts across Day, Afternoon & Night shifts
