Minuteman Press Warana is seeking a Graphic Designer with print industry experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both creative design and the practical side of print production.
About the Role
The role will involve a mix of graphic design and print production, working across a variety of print-based projects from concept through to final output. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate, press-ready artwork and assisting with production workflows to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
* Design artwork for print, including signage, marketing collateral, large-format and general commercial print
* Prepare and check print-ready files (prepress, bleed, colour, resolution, finishing requirements)
* Liaise with production staff to ensure designs are suitable for print processes
* Manage file setup, revisions and artwork approvals
* Assist with print production tasks as required
* Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and quality standards
* Operate digital presses, large format printers, and finishing equipment to ensure high-quality print production
About You
* Proven experience as a Graphic Designer within the print industry
* Minimum 1-2 years of printing industry experience preferred
* Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop essential)
* Solid understanding of print processes, materials and finishes
* High attention to detail and strong file management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to be involved in production
* Australian work rights required
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with large-format printing or signage
* Knowledge of RIP software or print workflows
* Basic understanding of colour management
