12 Month Fixed-Term Contract | Northern Suburbs | 5 Days Onsite
We're partnering with a well established organisation in Melbourne's northern suburbs to secure an experienced IT Engineer to support a busy infrastructure environment during a key leadership transition.
This is a hands‐on, internal‐facing role sitting in a small team environment. Ideal for someone stepped up from helpdesk or early infrastructure experience into a more well‐rounded systems role.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing Level 2/3 support across Microsoft technologies and core systems.
* Acting as an escalation point for more complex helpdesk issues.
* Supporting vulnerability management and coordinating patching activities.
* Assisting with server lifecycle tasks including upgrades and configuration.
* Working closely with architecture and security teams on day‐to‐day priorities.
What we're looking for:
* Around 2+ years' experience in a Systems Engineer/Infrastructure‐focused role
* Strong exposure to Microsoft 365, Intune, and Group Policy.
* Background in helpdesk with progression into infrastructure support.
* Comfortable working in a small team and picking up a broad range of tasks.
* No heavy networking experience required.
