We are seeking interest from Child Care workers for Casual Educator opportunities at two Diocese of Lismore OSHC services:
* Coffs Harbour - St Augustine's Primary School, and
* Sawtell – Mary Help of Christian's Primary School
About the roles
* Casual Educator roles available at Coffs Harbour and Sawtell within Catholic Primary Schools.
* Deliver our quality Outside School Hours Care program, that focuses on providing meaningful and interest-based experiences to our children.
* Ensure children are safe, engaged and well supervised at all times.
* A great work environment with supportive leadership and centralised support teams.
* Pay rate between $36.91 and $39.55 per hour including allowance (Level 2 or Level 3 based on skills and experience). For appointees who hold a relevant Diploma, pay rate is $41.09-$42.95 per hour including allowance. A further pay increase will be applied to all levels from 2 December 2025 (hourly rates, including an allowance, increase to between $38.51 to $44.93).
* As casual roles, the hours may vary. The service operating hours are 6:30am – 8:45am before school and 2:00pm to 6:00pm after school. School holidays programs run 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
About you
1. Available to work over Monday to Friday roster (no weekends).
2. Working knowledge in safeguarding principles and experience effectively supporting the safety of children in a care setting.
3. Ability to act professionally at all times with sound interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
4. Able to represent the values of the Catholic Church, such as care, safety and wellbeing of children in our care.
The successful candidate must have or be able to obtain prior to commencement a NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
