ERP Monitoring Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Monitoring Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP HANA environments, identifying and resolving complex technical issues, and providing expert-level support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Upgrade SAP systems according to client specifications with minimal disruption to business operations.
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues within the SAP Basis environment.
* Monitor SAP systems to ensure peak performance, implement performance tuning, and conduct regular system health checks.
* Implement and manage SAP security settings and user administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive data backup and recovery procedures, testing them regularly to ensure they meet the required service levels.
* Lead smaller SAP Basis projects, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation of all SAP systems, processes, and configurations, and conduct effective knowledge transfer to end-users and other IT teams.
Requirements:
* Active AGSVA Baseline Clearance (NV1 preferred or eligible to obtain).
* Australian Citizenship.
* Must be on site 5 days a week.
* Deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in SAP or related IT areas.
