Job Purpose
This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities from a large, existing customer base; and retaining existing business by adding value to the customers through the provision of a proactive and personalised account management experience for the Capricorn Mutual product and insurance broking side of our business. The Mutual product is kind of like insurance, but different. Think of it as an alternative to insurance
What You'll Do
· Promote the organisation's products, services, and events to ensure sales and budget requirements are met.
· Conduct renewal activity as required and in line with agreed timelines and service levels
· Renew Capricorn Mutual Limited (CML) Member's protections and promote other insurance services offered by Capricorn Insurance Services (CIS).
· Maintain Member relationships and promote products and services to existing and future Members
· Achieve and exceed sales targets in your assigned territory.
· Work autonomously while staying connected with a collaborative, high-performing team.
· Follow up referred leads in a timely manner
· Ensure daily activities are loaded accurately and in a timely fashion into required systems to ensure follow up on activities and tasks.
· Provide reports as required by the Sales Manager
· Proactively identify, support, and assist Members who need to make a complaint and manage that complaint in line with the risk division of complaints procedures and the RG271 internal dispute resolution requirements.
· Attend Capricorn events relative to assigned regions as well as zone-based dinner and tradeshows
· Strive to achieve and promote the values of Capricorn's ACCT culture when liaising with Members.

Your Experience & Qualifications
• Proven Field-based sales experience
• Insurance Experience
• Experience managing a territory and working remotely.
• A valid Australian driver's licence.
• Have an interest in and the ability to travel to regional areas several times a year, including overnight stays
• ASIC RG 146 Tier 1 qualification.
