Join our Youth Cancer Service as a Social Worker and make a real difference for adolescents and young adults with cancer.
You'll deliver tailored support, build strong relationships, and help clients and families navigate challenges with confidence and care.
Deliver psychosocial assessments and create therapeutic plans
Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Youth Cancer team
Support the consumer group to strengthen engagement and representation
Provide care across inpatient, outpatient and outreach settings
About You
You are a compassionate and skilled social worker passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults with cancer and their families.
Hold a social work degree eligible for full AASW membership
Deliver psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions
Advocate effectively for young people and engage with families
Work confidently in multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and experience with diverse clients
