Preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. The City of Sydney Council currently holds an exemption under section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 in relation to its targeted recruiting programs. This role places you in the heart of the decision-making process in the City of Sydney, working in the office of Labor Councillor Yvonne Weldon, the City of Sydneyâs first Aboriginal Councillor. Working in a fast-moving political environment youâll be responsible or correspondence, diary management and office administration, within a small team. We are looking for someone who: ⢠  Is experienced in working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities ⢠  Is organised, agile and prioritises tasks effectively ⢠  Communicates clearly and succinctly ⢠  Can provide excellent diary management, and day to day organisation. ⢠  Sound working knowledge of Outlook and Office 365 Suite.  Prior experience and/or qualifications in administration are required.
