About the Position: The Horticultural Supervisor (Specialist) is a key leadership role at Top Line Produce Pty Limited, responsible for overseeing the operational management of our horticultural activities to ensure the successful cultivation and production of high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables.
This position involves planning and supervising all aspects of crop production, leading and developing a team of workers, coordinating resources efficiently, and maintaining compliance with industry standards, playing a vital part in supporting the company’s reputation for premium produce and efficient operations in the wholesale trade. Key Responsibilities: Plan and supervise daily, seasonal, and annual horticultural tasks, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting of our fruit and vegetable crops.
Train, assign tasks to, and evaluate the performance of farm workers and gardeners. Manage the procurement, maintenance, and allocation of equipment, vehicles, and materials. Oversee crop maintenance to ensure optimal growth, health, and quality yields.
Enforce health and safety regulations, and maintain accurate reports on work progress and resource usage. Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Certificate III or IV in Horticulture or a related discipline. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role. Demonstrated technical skills in crop management, irrigation systems, pest and disease identification, and equipment operation; strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to train and motivate teams; excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
