ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the Client Relationship Team, theAdmissions Officerguides prospective residents and their families through the admissions process for St Agnes' residential aged care services, including two general residential facilities and the award-winning dementia-specific Emmaus Village.
You will provide empathetic, client-focused advice and support, ensuring families are informed and confident when making decisions about aged care options. This role may at times include coordinating planned and emergency respite admissions, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as hospitals, My Aged Care, and allied health professionals.
FOCUS AREAS
* Guide prospective residents and their families through permanent and respite residential aged care admissions, providing clear, empathetic advice.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential records in the CRM to support smooth and seamless client management.
* Collaborate with internal teams, external organisations, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth care transitions.
* Represent St Agnes' Catholic Parish professionally at events, meetings, and forums, promoting aged care services.
* Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries via phone, email, or meetings, ensuring a positive client experience.
* Identify and implement improvements to admissions processes, client experience, and team workflows with ongoing monitoring.

ABOUT YOU
* Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service, preferably in aged care or health
* Strong understanding of the Australian aged care system and upcoming reforms
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple enquiries and liaising with diverse stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex information into clear guidance
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* High level of interpersonal skills, empathy, and emotional resilience
