Where You'll Be Working

You'll join a friendly, multidisciplinary team that takes a holistic, person‑centred approach, working closely with patients and families to promote independence, recovery and wellbeing. When activity at Wingham is lower, you may also work at Manning Base Hospital, giving you exposure to a broader clinical environment while remaining supported by experienced nursing staff.

About the Role

As an Assistant in Nursing - Rehabilitation, you will support patients with activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of Enrolled Nurses (EN) and Registered Nurses (RN). You'll play an important part in helping patients regain function, confidence and independence by assisting with mobility, personal care, and everyday tasks aligned with their individual rehabilitation goals. This is a 7‑day rotating rostered position, offering variety across morning, afternoon and night shifts, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts where available.

About You

You are a motivated, compassionate team player who enjoys working closely with patients and their families over time. You are enthusiastic about rehabilitation nursing, bring a calm and positive attitude, and are committed to supporting patients to achieve their best possible outcomes. You:

* Provide safe, person‑centred care under the supervision of RNs and ENs
* Work collaboratively with patients, families and the wider team to support individual rehab plans
* Demonstrate reliability, empathy and respect in all interactions
* Are keen to learn, develop your clinical skills and contribute to a supportive team culture
