The vision and function of the eCommerce Coordinator at Zen:
The eCommerce Coordinator helps Zen grow brands by keeping our online stores accurate, active and commercially effective. Working across multiple sites such as fjallraven.com.au,, ledlenser.com.au, gearsupply.com.au, and many more, this role supports brand performance by improving product presentation, campaign execution, customer experience, site accuracy and digital merchandising across Zen's Shopify ecosystem.

Position Description
This eCommerce Coordinator is part of the Sales & Marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing, taking daily direction from the Marketing Manager. The role is responsible for the daily operation, optimisation, and coordination of all Shopify sites across Zen's brand portfolio. With a strong attention to detail and user experience, the role ensures our websites are current, functional, well-merchandised, and optimised for mobile-first usage.
The Coordinator works collaboratively across marketing, planning, creative, and logistics teams to ensure product listings, pricing, collections, and inventory are well represented and maintained across all storefronts. The Coordinator also works closely with our Web Developer and Digital Specialist to identify UX improvements, enable site updates, and drive improvements in performance. Ecommerce stores need daily tending by people for each product, all the time.
Duties Shopify Store Coordination
* Manage daily operations of multiple Shopify stores (site merchandising, updates, banners, and feature content)
* Ensure homepage layouts, collections, and product detail pages are fresh, relevant and on‐brand
* Monitor product inventory and coordinate with planning and logistics to ensure accuracy
* Coordinate and implement price changes and promotional periods
* Manage up‐sell and cross‐sell promotions and monitor performance and make recommendations accordingly towards growth
* Liaise with Web Developer to manage theme customisations and ensure sites are bug‐free and converting well
* Work with the Digital Specialist to implement CRO best practices and SEO fundamentals
* Build and refine product listings using best‐in‐class assets, information, and metadata
Campaign & Product Launch Execution
* Coordinate store updates in line with brand plans, product marketing, new product releases and campaign calendars
* Upload, tag, and publish products in coordination with brand and marketing timelines
* Coordinate any related landing pages, collections, or promotional banners
* Support GTM (Go‐To‐Market) plans by executing digital merchandising tasks on time
Site Performance & Troubleshooting
* Work with internal teams to test and ensure correct functioning of new features, flows, or product launches
* Report and respond to bugs, downtime, or broken pages by triaging internally or with developer support
Cross‐Functional Collaboration
* Support the creative team with asset implementation and brand updates
* Coordinate with customer service, warehouse, and retail teams for product consistency and promotions. Our e‐comm stores are the brand product bible for many of our products and need accuracy, energy and detail
* Attend team meetings and contribute to ecommerce‐related discussions
Key Qualifications and Skills
* 1‐3+ years experience in ecommerce, preferably with multi‐site Shopify environments
* Strong working knowledge of Shopify admin, themes, page builders, and basic HTML/CSS
* Experience coordinating with cross‐functional teams (design, marketing, logistics)
* Comfortable with tools such as Adobe CC/Canva, Klaviyo, Google Analytics
* Detail‐oriented with a keen eye for merchandising, layout, and product presentation
* Team player with a proactive and solutions‐oriented mindset
