This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency. Role and responsibilities
The successful applicant will ideally:
- Have sound interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work cooperatively in a Design and Technology (Materials and Technology) team.
- Exhibit sound classroom management, the ability to develop rapport and motivate students, differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs, and practice a range of teaching strategies.
- Engage students and challenge them to achieve their personal best.
- Work effectively in a team and independently, supporting initiatives and programs in Design and Technology.
- Engage in professional learning and liaise with colleagues, parents, and external networks.
- Teach Design and Technology (Materials and Technology) with flexibility to contribute across other subject areas.

Eligibility and application
To Work With Us, You Must:
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
