You’ll play a crucial role in providing expert advice on accommodation and ancillary services, tailoring experiences for each guest, and maximising revenue through effective sales strategies. You’ll collaborate closely with various teams to ensure our guests have extraordinary experiences on Hamilton Island.Key responsibilities of the role include:Efficiently convert and process booking enquiries through phone, email, and live chat from prospective and existing guests via direct and trade channelsQualify guests and use your expert knowledge to provide advice and personal recommendations on a variety of accommodation rates and packages, including tours, activities, and diningProvide accurate quotes to guests, follow up on sales leads, and confirm bookings to increase conversionFocus on call conversion and other sales-based KPIs to maximise revenue and achieve personal sales targetsBuild and maintain strong business relationships with our trade partnersCommunicate special guest requests to our Front Office, Housekeeping, Tour Desk, or other teams to create an extraordinary guest experience on the islandMaintain excellent knowledge of island developments, rates, specials, and on-island activities to provide customers with up-to-date information on Hamilton IslandAssist other Contact Centre teams with administration overflow or any ad hoc duties as required by a Team Leader or ManagerAbout YouAs a Contact Centre Sales Agent, you’ll bring a strong background in sales and customer service, with a proven record of achieving targets and KPIs.
