Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Transport team has exciting opportunities for Senior or Principal Civil Engineers in the Brisbane or Maroochydore office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia. With a focus on creating safe and climate resilient infrastructure that benefits the economy, society and the environment, you will have the opportunity to:
* Provide civil engineering capabilities for projects, including major roads and highways infrastructure projects. Liaise with client, sub-consultants and contractors, as needed.
* Assist with proposal writing and project management tasks as required.
* Assist with business development and establishment of reputation in Queensland Transport team, particularly in the Sunshine Coast area.
* Join a team of civil engineers, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and achievement.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, driving new work opportunities and positive change.
* Collaborate effectively with public and private sector clients to deliver high-quality projects.
* Manage project aspects including administrative, commercial, and technical components.
* Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring clarity and precision.
* Promote teamwork, diversity, and inclusion within the team.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar).
* Demonstrated technical experience in road design and civil engineering expertise
* Experience with TMR or local government
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with public and private sector clients.
* Strong project management skills with hands-on experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, valuing diversity and promoting inclusion
* Road safety audit experience is desirable.
