Office Junior / Administration Assistant – Full Time
We are looking for an Office Junior / Administration Assistant to join our friendly team. This role is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their career who wants to build skills in a professional office environment.
About the role
A professional phone manner and presentation are essential. No prior legal experience is required but previous administration or customer service experience will be highly regarded. We will provide training and ongoing support. This role eventually graduates into the position of legal secretary.
Applicants must be Australian citizens only.
Your initial responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls and greeting clients at reception
- Assisting with file opening, closing, archiving and electronic filing
- Supporting the admin team with general office tasks
- Helping keep the office running smoothly with day-to-day duties
About you - We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident and clear on the phone
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Willing to learn and take on new challenges
- Positive in written and verbal communication, including typing
- Accurate with details
- Able to use Outlook, Word and Excel
- Organised, reliable and a good team player
- Has a driver's licence and vehicle
Previous office or customer service experience is an advantage. The most important qualities are a great attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to learn.
