What you'll be doing
As the Digital Dentistry Technologist, you will lead the establishment and optimisation of digital laboratory workflows across prosthetic, surgical and radiographic applications. Your expertise will support clinical teams, improve quality standards and contribute to research and innovative service delivery.
- Develop, implement and maintain digital workflows for prostheses, appliances and surgical/radiographic guides
- Conduct quality audits and champion continuous improvement in digital laboratory processes
- Provide high-level technical work, advice and support to clinicians and technicians
- Ensure compliance with therapeutic goods and medical device standards
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, supervise technicians and support staff capability development

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: completion of Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics or equivalent as deemed by employer.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as qualified Dental Technician with completion of Advanced diploma of Dental Prosthetics or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in the use of 3D printing in the dental industry and technologies to facilitate clinical utilisation of digital workflows, including pre-operative planning.
- Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided design /manufacturing (CAD/CAM software).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in conjunction with effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and independently.
- Demonstrated ability to work to a deadline while providing a high standard of dental laboratory work with daily allocations.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor quality control of laboratory work.
