Emmetts is seeking a motivated and capable Machinery Sales professional to step into the role of Inventory Controller.

About the Role
The Inventory Controller plays a critical role in managing and optimising machinery inventory across our branch network. Working closely with Branch Managers, Sales teams, and key stakeholders, you'll ensure efficient stock flow, identify sales opportunities, and drive best practice in compliance and process.
Ideal Location - Horsham Victoria, However, we are Flexible Across the Emmetts Branch Network in South Australia & Western Victoria | Occasional Travel to Horsham Required
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate stock levels across all branches to meet operational and sales targets.
* Partner with Sales Representatives and Branch Managers to manage new and used machinery, including valuations, transfers, and ordering.
* Lead and support strategic stock control decisions to maximise availability and minimise aged stock.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the ordering and sales lifecycle.
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of inventory systems and processes.
What You Bring
* Demonstrated experience in machinery ordering and sales, ideally within the agriculture or machinery sectors.
* A strong understanding of inventory processes, sales cycles, and product knowledge.
* Strategic thinking and a process-oriented mindset to drive inventory effectiveness.
* Strong communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability and willingness to travel to Horsham for onboarding and collaboration with the current team
