Maintenance Planner Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise in maintenance planning, coordination, and execution.



Job Responsibilities:


* Develop and execute well-structured work packages to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust preventive maintenance program.

* Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork within the maintenance department.

* Coordinate preventive maintenance activities across departments in line with our strategic framework.

* Manage and prioritize new maintenance work requests daily.

* Identify, source, and ensure availability of necessary parts and materials for maintenance tasks.

* Develop and manage service agreements with third-party contractors and oversee onsite contractor compliance.

* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

* Support Inventory Controller by optimizing spare parts and materials.

* Collaborate with Engineering on new installations and equipment upgrades.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures.



Requirements:


* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a FMCG environment; ideally 7+ years.

* Proven experience managing contractors and high-risk work in an industrial setting.

* Confident collaborator able to work effectively at all organizational levels.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

* Strong computer literacy, data analysis capability, and experience using CMMS software.

* Demonstrated Lean manufacturing knowledge.

* Proficient in root cause analysis, condition inspection techniques, and problem-solving.

* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (desirable).

* Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of industrial services (desirable).
