Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute climate risk assurance reviews, including assessment of systems, data integrity, scenario analysis, and financed emissions.
* Ensure timely delivery of audit engagements within budget, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
* Align audit activities to internal and external climate risk developments, including emerging regulations.
* Contribute to the annual internal audit plan and resource allocation based on business risk profiles.
* Build strong, constructive relationships with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and Finance functions.
* Drive understanding of climate-related risks across IA and the wider business.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Extensive experience in risk management frameworks, operational risk, compliance, and delivery risk.
* Proven track record leading complex audits or risk projects, preferably in Sustainability/ESG and Financial Services
* Strong understanding of climate risk, regulatory obligations, and banking/finance industry practices.
* Expertise in risk and control analysis across complex business processes.
* Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior leaders.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive innovative assurance practices.
