About the Role
Our Cardiac Catheter Labs run Monday to Friday and provide 24/7 acute on-call service. With two state-of-the-art labs offering a wide range of procedures, including interventional cardiology, structural heart, vascular, interventional radiology, and pain management.
We are currently offering a permanent and casual positions. In this role, you will be responsible for Scrub/Scout and monitoring duties across a range of procedures such as:
* Coronary Angiography
* Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
* Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation
* Structural Heart Interventions
* Cardiac Electrophysiology
* Interventional Radiology and Pain Management
* Endovascular and Open Vascular Procedures
About You
We are seeking motivated and adaptable Nurses with a passion for cardiac care and a commitment to high-quality clinical outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum two years of post-graduate experience in an acute care setting
* Recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Post-graduate qualifications are highly regarded
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $ $ superannuation + applicable penalty rates. Based on experience level and qualifications (QLD Registered Nurse/Midwife Level

The Hospital
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties. The Hospital operates 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and a 9 chair day therapy unit.
